DJ DUDS, his stage name for Duds Isaac Mitra, has been deeply passionate about making music ever since his early childhood. From playing the guitar & and other instruments to forming a band, and producing records, DUDS has been consistent in involving himself in many different areas of his musicality. DUDS began his professional DJ career in early 2022 when the nightlife started resurrecting from the previous pandemic lockdowns. His previous gigs include “Disco Nights” at Top of the Alpha, ‘Hiatus’ at Keepers Bar, “Southclub Nights” at Kampai, and ‘Gitnas’ at Ugly Duck. He immersed himself in the local Indie DJ/Producer collectives, which influenced his current DJ sound. These sounds include 70s & and 80s Disco, 90s French House, and Modern-day Nu-Disco.

DJ DUDS pays homage to the pioneers of club music all the way to the mid-20th century, and he uses this tribute to give his gig venues nostalgic yet irresistible tunes to groove to. He’s sure to get the crowd feeling like their youth with the almost forgotten tunes of their past.
